Two more classes of EM maps were also deduced from the cryo-EM information, which corresponded to the D0UDD and D0DDD arrangements, corresponding to 7%, and 11% of the total population, respectively (Supplementary Fig.14). The T326I variant also exhibited a D0UUU arrangement whose EM map could fit to the IPEC-J2 cell-derived PEDV PT52 S atomic model, but the relative population was a lot reduced (23%).
